Eligibility and activation

Protected youth enrolment is not open. When activated after review, youth accounts support athletes aged 13–17 only. A private birth date determines the account group. Under-13 accounts are not supported; do not change a birth date to bypass this restriction. Guardians and professionals must be adults.

Guardian authority

The guardian must have an account, confirmed email and lawful parental responsibility or other appropriately reviewed authority. They must accept these terms and responsibilities and complete the relationship verification workflow. An invitation, subscription or ticked declaration alone does not establish verification. Notify Apex about authority changes, disputes or a compromised account.

Athlete responsibilities

Use accurate sporting information and upload only media you have permission to use. Do not publish private contact details, identifying documents, home addresses or recurring school/training routines. You may report concerns about any participant, including a guardian, to Apex for independent review.

Guardian responsibilities

For ages 13–15, publication is guardian-managed. Ages 16–17 may manage sporting information with continued guardian control of professional approaches and higher-risk privacy settings. Review media, discovery and commercial preferences thoughtfully. Respond to safety concerns and keep account credentials secure.

Professional conduct and contact

All youth professional approaches require appropriate verification and a stated professional purpose. Guardian approval and participation are mandatory for conversations. Do not ask for secret conversations, hidden accounts, concealed off-platform contact or the removal of a guardian. Inappropriate approaches and attempts to bypass controls may lead to restriction, suspension and review. Verification describes particular checks, not a guarantee of safety; paid plans never weaken these rules.

Commercial and representation discussions

Guardian approval is required for commercial and representation availability. Apex facilitates introductions and does not promise sponsorship, representation, employment or selection. Apex does not provide legal advice on youth contracts; obtain appropriate independent advice and any required permissions.

Media, privacy and reporting

Existing media limits and moderation rules apply. Guardian permission is needed for youth media publication and separate editorial approval is needed for a Spotlight story. Use block/report controls promptly. Apex may restrict visibility or contact while investigating safety concerns or a disputed guardian relationship.

Closure, disputes and adulthood

Guardian-managed closure requests undergo account authority, safety and retention review. A young person can independently ask Apex to review unsafe or inappropriate guardian control. Complex family or legal disputes are not automatically resolved by the platform. At 18, mandatory guardian control ends without deleting history; the athlete reviews their adult privacy and contact preferences.

Other terms and contact

Read these terms with the main Terms, Youth Privacy Notice and Safety page. Consumer and data-protection rights that cannot lawfully be excluded continue to apply. Contact apexathletegroupnco@gmail.com. Final youth wording and safeguarding operations require professional review before enrolment opens.
